About this policy (APP entity)
This Privacy Policy explains how Racing and Wagering Western Australia (we, us, our), trading as TABtouch, collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to tabtouuch.mobi and all related services. Privacy enquiries, access and correction requests can be directed to our Privacy Officer at support@tabtouuch.mobi.
Notice of collection
We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, verify your identity, deposit or withdraw, place bets, or contact us. If we cannot collect the information we need (for example to verify your age and identity), we may be unable to open or operate your account. We also collect device, usage and transaction data automatically as you use the site.
Information we collect
Identity and contact details, date of birth, government identifiers used for verification, transaction and betting history, responsible-gambling choices, BetStop check results, device and usage data, and any correspondence you send us.
Why we collect it & legal basis
To open and operate your account; verify your identity and age (KYC); comply with the AML/CTF Act and report to AUSTRAC; maintain wagering integrity; meet obligations to the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia; support responsible gambling and check BetStop; process payments; detect fraud; and, with your consent, send marketing.
Identity verification
Under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) we must verify your identity before you bet. We may use document checks and accredited electronic verification services. We do not use this data for marketing without your consent.
Marketing and consent
We send direct marketing only where you have opted in, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every message contains a working unsubscribe. Our marketing is directed only at adults (18+), excludes minors, and does not offer prohibited inducements.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only where necessary, to these categories of recipient:
- Identity-verification and KYC providers (document and electronic checks);
- Payment and financial-services providers (deposits, withdrawals, fraud screening);
- AUSTRAC (AML/CTF reporting);
- the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia (our regulator);
- the BetStop register operator (self-exclusion checks);
- racing and sport controlling and integrity bodies;
- IT, hosting, analytics and communications service providers acting under contract on our behalf;
- law-enforcement, courts and government agencies where required or authorised by law.
Cross-border disclosure
Some service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we disclose information overseas we take reasonable steps consistent with APP 8 to ensure it is handled appropriately.
Age verification & minor data protection
We enforce strict 18+ age verification before any account is opened. If personal information of a person under 18 is inadvertently collected, we delete it immediately, do not transfer it overseas, do not use it for marketing, analytics or profiling, and do not share it with third parties.
Security & retention
We hold information under reasonable security safeguards (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, logging, staff training) and retain it only as long as necessary and to meet legal obligations (including minimum retention periods under the AML/CTF Rules), after which it is securely destroyed or de-identified. We comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information (APP 12) and correction of inaccurate information (APP 13) by emailing support@tabtouuch.mobi. To protect your privacy we may ask you to verify your identity first. There is no fee to make a request.
Direct marketing opt-out
You can opt out at any time from your account or via the unsubscribe link in any message. Registering with BetStop removes you from all licensed provider marketing.
Sensitive information & identity documents
We handle government-issued identity documents (such as a driver licence or passport) collected for KYC with heightened security, use them only to verify your identity and meet our legal obligations, and retain them only for the period required by law. We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or religious information) except where you volunteer it in a responsible-gambling interaction or complaint, and only to assist you. We never use identity documents for marketing.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Optional analytics and preference cookies load only with your consent, using Google Consent Mode v2.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and void any bets.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, email support@tabtouuch.mobi. We acknowledge within 2 business days and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992.
Updates to this policy
